Some things to keep in mind for when selecting an SEO company:

1.  Standardized SEO plans don't work.  That's because every situation is different.  To rank #1 on Google, one must develop a customized solution for that web particular property and the competitive landscape for the target keyword phrases.  Be wary of 'one size fits all' approach.  Think custom.  We only do custom SEO work specifically engineered for your specific requirements.

2.  Overall organic rankings are more important than specific keywords.  Search algorithms are becoming increasingly sophisticated.  In the past,  we would search on something like 'hotels Las Vegas' and then pour over the results.  However,  the way we is evolving.  It's becoming more and more colloquial.  The use of AI and agents like Siri will transform search into natural language.  So 'hotels Las Vegas' will be replaced by something like 'Where should I stay when I am in Las Vegas?'.  For this reason, the key metric is to monitor in your SEO campaign is the volume of qualified leads - not the ranking of particular keyword.  Yes, you want to rank high.  But true success is sales.  You want more qualified leads.  This means more qualified traffic.  And that means higher organic rankings for searches that actually convert into sales.

3.  Content matters a lot.  This content must be on your website.  We call this on-page SEO.  It must link to other pages on your site and it must link to other sites.  In addition to on-page SEO,  there's a need to create unique content that is posted elsewhere on the internet and that content must link back to your site.  We call this off page SEO.  In both cases, the content must be useful and relevant to BOTH search engine bots AND humans.  For this reason, off shoring your content creation to non-native English speakers generally doesn't work well.  Your content needs to be high quality.  We are locally based and we develop content ourselves.  It's grammatically correct, interesting and congruent with your company's mission.
